We bought one new small TV because we already have satellite. That way if satellite goes out, we still have a TV we can watch something.

As far as how much time, it depends on what shows are on that we like. My husband watches a lot more then me. I’d rather play on the computer but there are a few shows I do enjoy watching. I could actually live without satellite or cable TV and once we save up enough to buy some new TVs, I’m going to talk to my husband about dropping satellite. The prices are just too high. Now if we could pick and choose which channels we wanted, that would be different. Almost 95 percent of the channels we get, we don’t even watch.

My television is turned on from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed at night, but I don’t actually "watch" it that many hours.
