  19. rgchrono says:

    some, but not all …
some, but not all of it , Hitler had nothing to do with them being what they are now. You are right, the US did

i just do not take kind when somebody points out a fact like that. If it wasn’t for the US, Japan wouldn’t be a technological power house that it is today!! kind of shows you also! that if the US was putting all of its money on technology we would have been far superior to Japan, than the other way around. US has to learn better.

    I believe that …
I believe that there is SOME merit to Piscivorus’ remarks. After the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasake, America helped rebuild Japan, developing state-of-the-art facilities for manufacturing, whereas America often used dated technology. Japan was prohibited from creating an army, so while our army looked over Japan, they focused on research and development, becoming the Japan we know today, a powerhouse for technology.

  21. rgchrono says:

    clueless…the …
clueless…the japanese used to send japanese students to the western world to get information about the western culture and technology. You are talking about Japan, a part of the world that became western on its own and copied the best technology of the western empires in a matter of a few years, less than 5 years. The japanese would have done the same thing no matter what. Learn history, before talking

  24. Piscivorus says:

    Actually, the …
Actually, the Japanese would still be in the stone age if it hadn’t been for Hitler.
